This camp is designed for boys and girls, ages
7 and up, in ALL sports to improve speed,
quickness, and explosiveness.

Overview
Real Deal Camp is designed to enhance and develop
the complete student athlete. It is our goal that each
person gains exposure to the latest training
fundamentals using cutting edge techniques.
Speed training has taken my game to
the next level. The drills and the
progression that Coach Dawson uses is
guaranteed to make you faster.

  • Real Deal Training really emphasizes explosion, power and plyometrics
    drills
  • These drills will enhance the athletes first step, burst, change of direction  
    and power moves
  • Example : hitting a baseball, Wrestling, Football Tackling, and throwing a
    javelin
  • In 2007 Evangel track team were State Champions in the shot put and the
    discus. Evangel was the only school to win titles in two throwing events.

Real Deal welcomes master
speed trainer Lawaan Latson.
Coach Latson has teamed up with real
deal trainers to take the camp to the
next level. Lawaan has always been
known for his speed. The former Saint
and CFL standout has been clocked at
4.2 in the forty on several occasion. He
is the premiere next level speed coach
in Louisiana.
.  Latson has also personally trained
over 15 NFL players including Troy
Edwards (Jacksonville Jaguars) Chad
Johnson (Kansas City Chiefs) and Arnaz
Battle (San Francisco 49'ers). Lawaan
will be training young athletes
everyday during the entire summer
speed camp.
