ABOUT CHIEF DIRECTOR: Coach Byron Dawson

As a high school athlete Dawson was a two
time shot-put state champion, All American
defensive tackle and Louisiana Defensive
MVP. In college he was four-year starter on
LSU football team. He was voted the tigers
Unsung Hero in 2001. Dawson was also a
member of a Championship Track Team
while at LSU. Dawson has coached 5 state
championships in his short coaching career.
He has also coached two defensive lineman
that were named Louisiana Defensive
Player of the year. Coach was influenced in
college by two National Strength and
Conditioning Coaches of the Year, Rob
Obviatt and Tommy Moffit. Coach Dawson
was also exposed to the teachings of LSU
track coach Pat Henry, who has won 27
National Championships, more than any
other coach in NCAA history. The majority of
the drills and speed training techniques
being taught were influenced by Coach
Henry. In 2007 Coach Dawson was invited
to speak on speed and agility at the
prestigious Nike Coach Of The Year Clinic.
He also spoke and taught hundreds of
Coaches at the annual LSU and Louisiana
College Football Clinics.

Horace Dickerson

Horace is a retired NFL agent. He has always
believed in getting his clients the real deal edge
over their competition. After retiring he decided to
work with and organize several youth leagues in the
Suburban Philadelphia area. Real Deal Inc. follows
his philosophy of each one teach one. The training
and camps are designed to connect ordinary youth
athletes with exceptional college and pro athletes.
The camps will also stress the importance of
education and to remember to be first a student
athlete. He also believes that experience is the best
teacher. Each camp includes several workshops
and sessions on character building, academic
enrichment and Life Skills. This company is
designed to get kids exposure and the real deal
edge over their peers. The young athletes combine
results will be sent throughout the nation. This will
assist the athlete in taking their game to the next
level.

Real Deal has teamed up with NCSA and former Dallas
Cowboy Mario Edwards to put on the ultimate camp,
combine.
This summer will truly be a summer to remember. Each
athlete will have the privilege of being trained by former
and current NFL and Division 1 athletes.
This year we have put together a great team to bring
this event to a city in your area. Several college and pro
athletes will teach the players the latest techniques,
fundamentals, skills and drills. Please stay posted to
this website for further information.
